We talk to our Production Administrator Charlotte Goddard about what she gets up to on a day-to-day basis working at Tufnol, and what she enjoys most about being at the company:
What does your job involve?
My job involves, communicating with customers regarding progress of orders and to advise of any potential delays or problems. Entering data onto in-house ERP computer systems, organising daily despatch paperwork, arranging couriers, and assisting with general production administration processes. I also assist with some aspects of HR Admin.
What do you most like about your job?
I enjoy the organisational aspects of my job and being able to have a helping hand and gain experience with varying responsibilities, even though I have the core role of my job, there is also something different every day here!
What are your roles & responsibilities?
I am responsible for ensuring customer orders are despatched on time, checking that they have been delivered without any issues, picking any issues up that may arise and dealing with these accordingly.
What makes Tufnol a good company to work for?
Tufnol is a very interesting place to work, the history of the building and company is fascinating to me, and the people are the friendliest I have ever worked with! We are a tight knit team and all work together to ensure we keep the Tufnol legacy moving forward!
