Tufnol SRBGF Materials
Laminated Glass Fabric Grades

(Also known as Synthetic Resin Bonded Glass Fabric, or SRBGF)

Resin-bonded glass fabric grades

Tufnol laminated glass fabric grades are used in various high-performance applications due to their strength, rigidity, dimensional stability, and excellent electrical insulation.

Key uses of synthetic resin-bonded glass fabric materials include electrical insulation in high-temperature environments like aerospace and industrial machinery, components in high-frequency electrical devices, and structural insulation in electronic equipment.

They are particularly valued in environments where fire resistance and low smoke output are crucial, such as underground facilities and passenger transport vehicles. These materials are not suitable for wear or bearing applications due to their abrasive nature.

See below for a full range of laminated glass fabric grades.
