TUFNOL reduces wear and prolongs stylus performance. Produced from Carp brand TUFNOL, these master patterns can be used repeatedly for the copy-machining of precision forging dies, without need for stylus regrinding after each operation.

Accurate to within 0.0015 in., the TUFNOL laminated plastics patterns are used on this electronically controlled ‘Nassovia’ copy miller, at the Leeds works of the Monk Bridge Iron and Steel Co. In this type of application, the TUFNOL patterns will last indefinitely. Easily machined, TUFNOL can be hand finished if required and will not chip, warp or crack. Under normal storage conditions it will not deteriorate or corrode.
